Jihane Benmassoud is a professor at the School of Technology in Essaouira, Cadi Ayyad University, Morocco, and an associate member of Tanit, a multi-disciplinary research group on gender at Moulay Ismail University, Morocco. She is also a professor in the Global Understanding Program at East Carolina University. She is a Reviewer in different international journals such as English Language Pedagogy Journal and a guest editor in REila Journal of Research and Innovations in Language. She has participated in many national and international conferences as an organizer and a participant, and her previous studies are related to different disciplines including Applied Linguistics, Gender and Media.
Dr. Aicha Bouchara is a professor in the Department of Languages and Communications at the Faculty of Science and Techniques in Tangiers, Abdelmalek Essaadi University, Morocco. She holds a PhD in Gender and Media from Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez, Morocco. She was an associate member of the multidisciplinary research group on women called Tanit at Moulay Ismail University in Meknes from 2009 to 2018. Currently, she is a co- researcher at the “Observatoire Francophone pour le développement inclusif par le genre” (OFDIG) at the University of Quebec in Montreal in Canada. Her research interests focus on multiple themes related to gender such as gender-based violence, women in tertiary education, gender representation in textbooks, gender in social networks and cinema, women’s art, women and tourism, and women in STEM-related fields. She has given many lectures on feminism and human rights, women’s status in colonial and post-colonial Morocco, and gender dynamics in Morocco. Dr. Bouchara has also been teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and English for Specific Purposes (ESL) for 10 years in different public and private higher education institutions in Morocco. She has also worked on projects related to e-learning, hybrid teaching, and virtual exchange for the benefit of university students. Her interest in the field of EFL/ ESL is mainly on the use of new technologies in language learning and teaching.
Nabil Belmekki is a Moroccan researcher and writer. He obtained his Ph.D. from Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdullah University of Fes, Morocco. He is currently a Professor of English at the Higher School of Technology, Moulay Ismail University of Meknes, Morocco. Nabil Belmekki serves as a reviewer for international journals such as the International Journal of Language and Literary Studies (IJLLS), the International Journal of Education, Culture and Society (IJECS), the International Ecolinguistics Association (IEA) and the Public Journal of Semiotics (PJOS). He is a frequent participant at scholarly conferences in Morocco and around the world including Lithuania, Spain and Egypt. He also translates articles and books from English to Arabic and from Arabic to English. His major research areas comprise visual semiotics, discourse analysis and language education. He has also appeared many times on national and international media outlets, including Le Matin, Aujourd’hui, 2M, Al-Oula, France 24,Tamazight TV, Edumate TV, and others.
BUDIANTO HAMUDDIN, MESL is a Lecturer in the Department of English at Universitas Lancang Kuning. He is pursuing his Doctoral in English Linguistics at Universitas Hasanuddin, Makassar. Indonesia. He was the Deputy Director in the Head of Research, Innovation and Publication and also Editor-in-chief in 3 different journals and editors and reviewers in 5 different journals around the globe. A scholarship holder and former Deputy Director of LPPM Unilak. . He is the Member of Relawan Journal Indonesia (RJI) Advisory Board and Member of Linguistics and Literature Association.
